I called this classic fried chicken because when I was young my mom always prepare this for my lunchbox once a week since Grade 1 until Grade 6 whew for 6 years but for me that’s always the best lunchbox item during that time. Its just simple unbreaded fried chicken, here is how to cook it.
1 kilo chicken
2 lemon or 10 calamansi
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon MSG (ajinomoto)
1 teaspoon ground pepper
1. Mix all the ingredients and marinate overnite.
2. Deep fry until golden brown. ( Increase the heat 2 minutes before removing it from the oil to make it really crispy)
3. Serve it hot.
