Ube jam or halayang ube is one of the popular Philippine dainties, mmmmmmm sweet and delicious, who can resist it? :D here is the very easy way to make it

 

Ingredients:

2 cups mashed ube ( purple yam)
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup condensed milk

1/2 cup evaporated milk

Procedure:

1. In a pan put all the ingredients and mix well over medium heat.

2. Stir constantly until the mixture goes from mushy to dry.

3.  Until you reach the consistency in texture of the mixture that is perfect for a jam.
